I am so much better at talking about myself than writing about myself. Maybe that should say something about me? Who knows. I think Michael and Mark would have a few things to say about that, but they should just keep their mouths shut, and not comment about my tendency to babble on. Maybe I really was casted in the perfect role. Hmmm things I should think about, possibly.
I'm Pauley Perrette and I haven't lived in my home town in years. I go back every so often, and I have to admit the life in New Orleans is vastly different than the life here in Los Angeles. But I like LA, I like how different it is, you never know what to expect. When I was a kid, we moved around a lot. My dad had a job that kept us moving, all over the Southern United States. I really liked it actually. It was fun to see new places all the time. I had a facination for criminology and forensics, even as a child. I loved learning, why something happened. I loved to talk to the local cops and just hear about what they were willing to tell me. That's probably why I went to college and majored in Sociology and Psychology and ended up getting my masters in Criminology. My mom was so excited because I graduated with Honors, I hear that is good. I just liked what I was learning.
Music has always been more important to me than almost anything. Well forensics has always been first, but then came music. A few years back I started my own record company, Go Records. I have a band too, Lo-Ball. We recorded a song, 'Fear' and it was actually on the sound track for the show I am on. What can I say? I am multitalented. I think I prefer the acting now though. Mostly because being on the show I am, lets me totally be a geek about Forensics. I have been on NCIS since 2003, playing the Labrat Abby Sciuto. I have never been this excited about a part and I have been blessed to keep it for the last six going on seven years. I love learning all the things that I have to when it comes to my character. She is an amazing woman.
Life has been a whirlwind. I've been married, divorced, have a restraining order on my ex and now I am seperated from my current husband. Maybe I am not meant to be married. I think that is what it is. I am not meant to be married. I should go with Abby's rule, not getting married. |
